Cory Brown of Waynesboro, PA is an amateur photographer residing in Gainesville, FL. He studied photography in his youth and in high school through 4-H, yearbook, and high school journalism. He picked up photography again in 2014 and received a CPD certification of completion from iPhotography online training in July of 2017. He attended a three day workshop taught by Master Photographer Michael Seewald in July of 2018. Cory Brown attempts to evoke an emotional response by the viewer with his photography; whether that be a sense of calm, motion, excitement, or just awe at the grandeur of the natural world around them.

Mr. Brown works in digital and medium format film mediums, with a focus on natural light landscapes. He enjoys photographing bodies of water and the motion of water. He also takes natural light family and children portraits. Cory Brown has had work chosen for display at the Delicato Photography Show in 2015, 2016, and 2017. He has received two honorable mention awards and three third place awards from the Delicato Photography show during that time. His work was chosen for display by the Tuolumne County Arts Alliance for their 2018 InFocus Photography Show. In that show his work “Sunset Wave” received a second place finish. His photography is also on display at the Carmel Ridge Tasting Room in Monterey, CA.
